Today, the 14th of December 2020, nobody seems to know, whether there will be a hard Brexit, an agreement between UK and Europe or if there will be any other contingency plan.
With the (big) risk that you are reading old news, we are sending you this message that there are only two weeks left (not considering the Christmas holidays) to take action and to solve the problems for your foreign company.
Firms offering Fiscal Representation - both Full and Limited – have huge capacity issues and many are refusing to take on more clients. This leaves firms with very limited options. One of these options is the creation of an establishment in the Netherlands as a gateway to seeking to normalise trading relationships post transition.
There needs to be an implementation period beyond December as it will be impossible to implement any deal in event of success. This potential implementation period should be used by traders to ascertain exactly what structure they need in the EU for business continuity.”
Gateway Business Support can assist you with the following:
1. Opening of a Dutch legal entity within 3-4 days (provided that all client onboarding is finalised).
2. Gateway is working with several notaries who confirm 24/7 availability in the coming weeks.
3. Gateway can arrange for a corporate address, VAT number and under certain circumstances a bank account.
4. Via our affiliated company, Molade Trust Management, Gateway can also provide Directors and shelf companies which are 5 years old without any activity and no history (more compliance required).
We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and hope you and your family stay healthy and safe in these strange times.
